But this is \"NOT\" a crack that is into the wood itself. This checking mark is isolated to the clear lacquer exclusively and in no way continues into the body wood. (About 3 inches long in total).. There is also a small 1 inch long scratch,.. (white in color),.. located on the lower back- rear side of the body below the strap pin area. And 2 round and rather tiny marks in the roasted maple neck just behing the 112th and 12th fret area. Ibanez factory stamped with a big letter \"S\" located on the back of the necks headstock area, just beside the scarf joint that indicates that this is a Factory second instrument. Each of these three independent \"issues\" can clearly be seen in the posted pics, although the mark in the lacquer is rather hard to get a clear shot of.,..but it is indeed there to be seen in person.
