The Gold Label 717e SB boasts a deeper version of Taylor's round-shoulder dreadnought body shape, coaxing out an exceptionally warm, open voice with a rich bass-range response, clear power across the spectrum and treble notes with a round, smooth character. The classic tonewood pairing of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce yields blooming overtones along with a dash of played-in sweetness thanks to the proprietary torrefaction process for the soundboard. Inside, a fanned variant of our V-Class bracing architecture bolsters the volume and sustain, while our patented Action Control Neck™ incorporates a long-tenon joint to enhance low-end resonance. The neck design also offers unmatched micro-adjustability and playing comfort - you can alter your action (string height) in seconds with a simple turn of a bolt through the soundhole without needing to remove the neck or detune the strings.

Visual appointments reflect the guitar's old-school sound, including a firestripe pickguard, a Curve Wing bridge in Honduran rosewood with Indian rosewood bridge pins, and cream-coloured binding, rosette and Crest inlays. This model ships with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics for warm, clear plugged-in sound and a deluxe hardshell case with a British Cocoa exterior.

Features

Contemporary Feel Meets Vintage Vibes

This deeper Grand Pacific dreadnought serves up old-school warmth along with signature Taylor playability.

Grand Pacific

This round-shoulder dreadnought delivers a new flavor of warm, rich Taylor tone.

Indian Rosewood

The tonewood superstar.
