The Cry Baby Daredevil Fuzz Wah represents a unique partnership between Johnny Wator, the owner and builder of Daredevil Pedals, and Dunlop. Wator's love for vintage circuits and desire to create distinctive new sounds led him to develop a custom fuzz circuit that blends perfectly with the bright, aggressive vocality of a modded Cry Baby Wah.
This pedal boasts an unapologetically raw and aggressive tone, with a heavy-duty baseball bat switch providing the only external control for toggling the fuzz on and off. Beneath the bottom plate, two additional controls allow for setting the output when the fuzz is engaged and adjusting the level of fuzz nastiness to suit your preferences.
For instant lead tone, simply boost both the output and gain and you're ready to shred. Housed in a special casing with a vintage crinkle finish base, a polished aluminum rocker top, and a custom design tread, each Cry Baby Daredevil Fuzz Wah is hand-built with thru-hole components and true bypass switching, providing a nod to full-frontal rock 'n' roll.
This versatile pedal can be powered by one 9-volt battery (accessed via the underside of the pedal), the Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies, providing flexibility and convenience for any musician.
