Music City Policies

Sales Policy:
All orders placed with Music City are subject to verification by our sales team. All prices on Music City are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Submitting your order through checkout places a pre-authorized transaction on your selected payment method, which is only completed/charged once the order has been verified. HST/GST will be calculated at checkout based on your location and will be charged accordingly, and may be adjusted as necessary before processing. Music City is not responsible for any taxes or duties charged as a result of shipments departing Canada.

Orders will be reviewed and verified by our web team during regular business hours. At this time we will notify you if there are any problems with your order, such as a manufacturer’s back order or discontinuation of a product line. At this time we will also alert you to any potential problems regarding shipping and delivery, such as additional costs due to remote addresses or incorrect address information.
If you need to make any changes to your order, or should you need to cancel your order, please contact us before it has been shipped so that we can ensure your request is completed.
For any items deemed special order, we will contact you to inform you of special order status and with ETA for approval prior to completing processing on the order. If the estimate is approved and processing is completed, should the order be cancelled at any point prior to fulfilment a 10% restocking fee will automatically apply and be deducted from the refund. If we do not receive confirmation/approval of ETA within 7 days of contact, the order will automatically be processed and the restocking fee will apply. Should we become unable to fulfill the item for any reason (i.e. the manufacturer discontinues production of the item and we will no longer receive it) then this restocking fee is waived and a refund in full will be provided. 
Price Matching:
We will match authorized Canadian dealers on any new & sealed, regular price product. All price match requests are subject to verification and can be placed on the product page using the green “request price match” button. Note that we cannot match pricing on demo or used products, or on products that are no longer available. Although we do not guarantee US dealer price match requests, we will (as per our discretion) if we are close. When requesting a price match from a US retailer, make sure you factor in currency exchange, shipping, duty, brokerage, etc before asking for a price request. All price match requests do not apply to online marketplaces (for example Amazon, eBay, Kijiji, Reverb). Price matches also do not apply to advertising errors, mail order offers, rebates, coupon codes, educational prices, free or bonus offers, liquidations, clearances, limited time offers, financing, or other special offers.

In-Store & Online Return Policy:

Regular stock items may be exchanged once or returned for a full refund within 30 days of the purchase.

Items that are final sale and not subject to return are any Special Order items, Used items, Consignment items, Computer Software, products that have software with them that has been registered, Harmonicas, Earplugs & any items that are inserted into your ears such as in-ear monitors or earbuds. Electronic parts, components, and tubes are non-returnable once opened unless verifiably defective upon delivery. "Consumables" such as drum heads, cymbals, sticks, and guitar strings are also non-returnable unless sealed in original packaging. 

Used, non-consignment items carry a 30 day defect warranty.

All in-store and online returns & exchanges are subject to a restocking fee of 10-20% depending on the condition of the item & packaging returned. If packaging is missing or packaging & item(s) are heavily damaged the restocking charge could increase or a return could be unavailable.

If your online shipment included free shipping, that amount will be deducted from the amount being refunded.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping, unless otherwise approved by Music City Canada staff in which case a shipping label on our account will be provided. Shipments shipped back collect will be refused.

Guidelines:

All items have to be carefully re-boxed as they arrived and need to be boxed in a box and cannot be returned in the colored packaging unless that is how it was originally shipped. Items are returned to:

Shipping Policy:
Music City is proud to offer free standard ground shipping on most Canadian online orders over $99 (CAD). Please note that rural/remote addresses may have additional shipping that cannot be calculated at checkout. Should this apply to your order you will be contacted prior to the order shipping. With no duty or customs fees within Canada, you can be sure that there are no hidden costs or surprised at delivery. All shipments leave our facility with a signature required at delivery to ensure the security of the package.
Same-day local delivery has a $199 order minimum.

Free shipments ship via standard ground service from either Canada Post or Purolator. If you need the order rushed, faster shipping options are available at additional cost and will be provided as options at checkout. Once your order has shipped, you will be notified with full tracking details.
If the amount of your order qualifies for free shipping, but your order is shipping to a rural or remote address (as determined by the courier), beyond destination charges may apply. You will be noted of any necessary adjustments for confirmation before your order has been processed.
North American orders outside of Canada do not qualify for free shipping, and the shipping charge will be calculated at checkout. Any orders leaving Canada will ship via Purolator US Ground, with delivery fulfilled by UPS past the border. Please note that customs/duty fees will be collected by the courier and must be paid at time of delivery.
Warranty:
Music City Canada is an authorized dealer for the brands of new products for purchase on our online store. All purchases of new products include the full manufacturer’s warranty. The customer is responsible for the shipping to the Canadian warranty centre or to Music City Canada, Shipment location to be confirmed by Music City Canada customer service. Shipping to return the unit back to you will be covered by the manufacturer or Music City Canada providing the product is deemed to have an issue and that issue is covered under warranty by the manufacturer. Any issues with the product that are deemed damage and not defect will not be covered under warranty and are subject to a minimum bench fee and return shipping.
