Styled in a violin sunburst finish, the AR420-VLS 6-String Electric Guitar from Ibanez is a solid-body electric guitar with a double cutaway design. It sports a set-in three-piece maple neck with a smooth heel designed to enhance the feel and playability of the instrument. The neck, measuring 24.7" in scale, offers a bound jatoba fretboard with 22 medium frets and acrylic/abalone block inlays. The body is fashioned out of okoume and has a flamed maple top with abalone body binding. For electronics, the AR420-VLS boasts two Super 58 humbucking pickups. Both pickups can be split into parallel or coil-tapped configurations by means of two independent tri-sound switches.
