The Yamaha Tour Custom series is one of Yamaha top-end line-ups, and these all-maple drums do not disappoint. A 6-ply, 5.6mm maple shell make for a versatile drum with a wide tuning range, perfect on stage or in the studio. We at Music City use this particular model in our live venue rentals and they are a drummers favorite in the spectrum they can over.
Inverse DynaHoop hoops and Absolute lugs create a tight, focused sound that's easy to tune, and the 20-strand high-carbon steel snare wires contribute to the focus and clarity of the sound. This drum comes with Remo Snare Ambassador heads (coated and uncoated on top and bottom respectively).
