Overview of Gibson - SJ 200 Standard ( Antique Natural ) w/OHSC - 2019 - Used

This is a very lightly used 2019 Gibson SJ-200 Standard in a very clean Antique Natural- high gloss finish. The guitar has seen some playtime over its short life, and as a result of so much use, this thing is a total cannon! Crisp and loud and full rich tones that are so typical of a SJ200- jumbo body size. Overall the guitar is in very good to excellent condition with very little play-wear. However the back of the body does indeed show a rather sizeable crack in the clear laquer. But rest assured, The crack is NOT in the wood itself. When looking at the affected area the crack can be a bit tough to spot but when held to a reflective light source you can indeed see it appear. And, As stated, the crack is strictly in the lacqure itself. Also, located on the back lower bout of the guitars soundbox there appears to be a very small escarpment between the binding and body side that can be felt when one runs a finger across the edge. This looks to be a manufactiring error and not an impact or crack or anything like that. It kind of feels like the binding did not set properly when the guitar was originally made and finished. However thats a guess at best. And these points do not in anyway take away from the sound and playability of the guitar what so ever. This thing is a total treat to play !! And priced very fairly for such a wonderful instrument at less than 2/3rd's the price of a new one !!
