The Yamaha Tour Custom series is one of Yamaha's top-tier drum lines, and these all-maple drums do not disappoint. The 6-ply, 5.6mm maple shell provides a versatile drum with a wide tuning range, making it perfect for both stage and studio use.
At Music City, we use this model for our live venue rentals, and it’s a drummer's favorite due to the incredible tonal spectrum it offers.
The Inverse DynaHoop counterhoops and Absolute lugs contribute to a tight, focused sound that’s easy to tune, while the 20-strand high-carbon steel snare wires enhance clarity and definition. This drum also comes equipped with Remo Snare Ambassador heads—coated on top and uncoated on the bottom.
