Pro-grade features at every level
Equipped with a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen — the same panel used in the flagship CDJ-3000X — the CDJ-1500X features a Browse view displaying up to 15 tracks simultaneously alongside waveform previews, enhanced markers for vocal positions, BPM changes, and phrase structures. Additionally, it includes a Playlist Edit function for on-unit track reordering without switching back to a laptop or re-exporting a USB drive. When we got hands-on with the CDJ-1500X, we were particularly impressed by its physical controls, which include eight Hot Cue buttons, a Beat Loop knob for instant single-push loop playback, Beat Sync and Beat Jump functions for confident mixing, and a non-slip jog wheel with a rotation indicator. Finally, the CDJ-1500X boasts license-free compatibility with rekordbox software, along with seamless Serato DJ Pro and Algoriddim djay Pro support for subscribers.

Connected from the start
The AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X’s built-in Wi-Fi provides you with a fully connected workflow, linking directly to personal cloud libraries via rekordbox CloudDirectPlay and to streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal via StreamingDirectPlay. Additionally, NFC login via rekordbox and your mobile device instantly loads your personal settings and playlists onto the CDJ-1500X. This means that you can arrive at a gig with nothing more than your smartphone and step straight into a set from your own library — no USB thumb drive required.

CoBeat: crowd interaction built into your set
The CDJ-1500X is compatible with CoBeat, an optional crowd-interaction service that enables you to generate a QR Code ahead of your set, giving your audience members access to a curated track catalog where they can vote on songs or submit direct requests, all of which appear in the CDJ-1500X's Browse view, ready to be pulled into the mix at any moment. Beyond that, crowd emoji reactions surface as pop-ups on your smartphone, providing a real-time read on the dancefloor's energy without interrupting your performance focus. Best of all, CoBeat can be toggled on or off at any point, keeping you firmly in command during your set.
