Hagstrom has reissued one of its iconic 1960s classics, the H8I TSB 8-String Bass. It became known thrugh none other than Jimi Hendrix, guitar superstar in the 1960s. The live recording at the BBC sessions with the legendary announcement by Alexis Korner - "a very special instrument" where both Jimi Hendrix and Noel Redding use this bass. The medium-scale bass with 8 strings (standard 040 - 095 set with corresponding octave strings) produces a unique sound - a mixture of bass and guitar. The whole thing in a cool retroscape vintage look and the legendary good playability of the Hagstrom instruments.
