Originally purchased in 1962 by its one and only owner, this guitar has been very well cared for and extensively played.
The top has one past crack repair, located along the top of the pickguard, running from the bottom of the bridge to the soundhole. This was most likely caused by the gradual shrinking of the pickguard over time, which led to the wood separating along the grain of the solid spruce top. Mojo on top of mojo!
Sold with an aftermarket SKB hardshell case that has a broken but cleverly replaced internal strap—one of those "obstacle creates the art" situations, I would guess.
