This affordable, vintage, iconic synth, first released in 1986, features oscillator sync, a ring modulator, and a sequencer. Each voice features three independent oscillators, allowing for the combination of analog and digitally sampled sounds.
This particular ESQ-1 has come to us as a recent trade-in unit that was clearly very well cared for and is in excellent condition and working order. That said, the previous owner had a modification done to the battery system, replacing the original battery with a more modern, easily accessible, and less expensive 3-volt lithium coin-cell battery.
It comes factory-loaded with 40 preset sounds. With the addition of the SXQ-10 sequencer card (sold separately), a vast array of sound and tonal options can be unlocked.
