With its warm, rich, and dynamic sound, the Tone Hammer Preamp is an essential preamp/direct box for every bassist. The Tone Hammer features fully sweepable midrange frequencies in addition to bass and treble controls. With the Tone Hammer’s pristine D.I. players are set for either studio or stage. Enhanced for even greater flexibility, the updated Drive circuit now provides an expanded range, allowing for increased gain and a dedicated control to finely tune your sound alongside the Gain control. You can go from modern slap sounds to vintage or overdriven and everything in-between. 18-volt operation gives the Tone Hammer plenty of headroom and we’ve added a Headphone Out and Aux In making it the perfect practice companion, whether on the road or at home.
