Ampeg - Dan Armstrong ADA6 Lucite - Clear Plexiglass Reissue w/ OHSC (MINT-2007) - USED

So check out this bad boy!! 100% MINT condition - collector grade 2007, Ampeg "Dan Armstrong ADA6 Lucite Reissue that has just come into the shop earlier last week. Rather hard to come by one of these beauties on the open "Used" market. One original owner and 100% factory mint condition with zero visible signs of any play-wear whatsoever! Just turning 20 years old and used very little if at all, and in complete with its original,.. (And also mint condition) Ampeg hard shell archtop case. Keys included! 

At present the guitar has the humbucking pickup installed in the body but the single coil "Quik Change" swap-out pickup is in the case, never used and still all neatly wrapped up in the plastic bag. Fully restrung and set up "In House" with  fresh set of D'Addario NYXL 10 to 46 gauge strings, All ready to be re-homed!!

The Ampeg Dan Armstrong ADA6 Lucite is an iconic transparent solid-body electric guitar originally introduced in 1969 and first reissued from 1998 to 2001, and again  with some Japanese made production runs from 2006 to 2010 with some units still sneaking out during early 2011. As discribed, this one here is a 2007 "Made in Japan" model.

Body & Construction

• Body Material: Solid machined Lucite / Plexiglas (polymethyl methacrylate / acrylic polymer) offering high density and sustain.
• Body Shape: Symmetrical double-cutaway with contoured edges.
• Pickguard / Headplate: Faux wood-grain Formica / rosewood-simulated laminate with engraved Dan Armstrong Ampeg branding.
• Neck Material: Maple (bolt-on construction, extended 3-piece joint)
• Fingerboard Material: Indian Rosewodd with dot inlays.
• Scale Length: 24.75 inches.
• Number of Frets: 24 medium jumbo frets.
• Nut Width: Approximately 1.655 inches. (42mm)
• Pickups: Interlocking, interchangeable single-coil and dual-blade humbucker units designed by Kent Armstrong (connected via bottom/rear screw or banana plugs.
• Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone, and a 3-position toggle switch.
• Switch Functions: Center position bypasses the tone circuit, forward acts as a standard high-cut tone control, and rear produces a half-cocked wah-style filter effect.
• Bridge / Tailpiece: Rosewood bridge base with compensated brass saddles.
• Tuners: 3 per side Grover closed Gear tuners.
