Aquarian's Response 2 is a two-ply, medium-heavy drumhead made from two plies of 7mil film. It is designed to produce a focused sound with consistent projection and tone.
This drum head is for a 24-inch kick drum model with an additional 7mil Power Dot glued to the center for added attack and durability.
The clear, double-ply construction of the Response 2 model drumhead offers extended durability and a focused attack. It is ideal for louder situations. Similar in weight to the Remo Emperor or Evans G2, the Response 2 has very controlled overtones and doesn't require any dampening unless you're going for a super-dry sound. Aquarian's patented SAFE-T-LOC hoop helps the tuning stay consistent and prevents pullouts.
The Response 2 sounds full and articulate at tight or loose tunings and is capable of covering a lot of different styles. If you need a durable head with a clean, easy-to-tune tone for pop, rock, funk, and other contemporary styles, give the Response 2 With Power Dot a try. This version has a larger flesh hoop for bass drums.
