Playability

KeyStep 37 mk2 features a velocity-sensitive 37-note Slimkey keyboard with aftertouch, delivering expressive control in a compact format. Pitch and modulation touch strips allow intuitive real-time shaping, while built-in Chord and Scale modes make exploring new musical ideas effortless.

A True Ideas Machine

More than just a controller, KeyStep 37 mk2 is a powerful creative engine. Its polyphonic step sequencer, 16-mode arpeggiator, pattern chaining, and creative tools like Mutate work together seamlessly.

Build a riff with the arpeggiator, convert it into a sequence, then transform it. Use Mutate to generate new variations instantly, experiment with octave shifts, adjust note lengths, insert rests, overdub additional notes, or record pitch-bend and modulation automation. Keep your ideas evolving in real time.

Hands-On Control

Four dedicated encoders provide immediate control over Arpeggiator, Sequencer, and Mutate parameters, enabling a streamlined performance workflow with minimal menu diving. These encoders are also freely assignable to custom MIDI CC and CV/Gate destinations for expanded flexibility.
