The Horizon 8P is a 24-in / 32-out Thunderbolt 3 audio interface built around eight Audient console mic preamps with AURA Control variable impedance. Paired with 32-bit conversion at 133dB dynamic range and 0.99ms round-trip latency, the 8P puts a complete, console-grade tracking front end in a single rack unit - designed for the producer or studio capturing performances with real analogue character and headroom.
The 8P puts a full tracking front end in one rack unit. Eight genuine Audient console preamps - David Dearden's circuit design from the ASP8024-HE console - give every source real analogue character and 75dB of clean, quiet gain, while AURA Control reshapes each preamp's impedance in hardware to voice ribbon, dynamic and condenser microphones at the source. When the session turns to mixing, eight DB25 line inputs bring your outboard straight in. 32-bit conversion at 133dB dynamic range and 0.99ms round-trip latency let you track and monitor through native plugins with no perceptible lag, and Horizon Control keeps routing, monitoring and four cue mixes a click away.
