The M1255BHC is a miniature, high-output condenser microphone finished in black, featuring a hypercardioid polar pattern. This directional pattern is excellent at rejecting off-axis sound, making it ideal for isolating specific sound sources in applications such as ceiling or table mounting for conferences, overhead choir miking, and various recording scenarios where focused pickup is needed. Its high sensitivity allows for effective distance miking. The M1255BHC also incorporates RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) immunity, ensuring clear and uncompromised audio even in environments with cell phones and GSM devices. It comes equipped with a detachable 25-foot mini-XLR to XLR cable for convenient connectivity. Additionally, a hanging clip and stand adapter are included, offering versatile mounting options.
