Audix M55W Hanging Ceiling Microphone w/ Height Adjustment - Supercardioid (Shotgun)

The white Audix M55WS Supercardioid Hanging Ceiling Microphone with Height Adjustment from Audix is designed for applications where sound quality and ease of installation are critical, such as in boardrooms, lecture halls, churches, and learning centers.  

The M55 accommodates optional interchangeable capsules with cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and supercardioid (shotgun) coverage patterns (sold separately). All electronics are fully integrated with high sensitivity and low noise and are equipped with a balanced signal output for inhibiting RF interference from cell phones and GSM devices.

Installation requires drilling one 5/8" hole in the ceiling with no additional tools needed. The adjustable mounting hardware allows the mic to hang up to 4' from the ceiling surface without removing the ceiling tiles. An optional aiming clip (sold separately) provides additional angular adjustments. The cable assembly features a solderless Phoenix connector and is housed in an airtight, plenum-rated junction box. A seismic restraint safety cable is also provided.
