The Audix MicroD Hypercardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone features a uniformly controlled hypercardioid polar pattern and provides maximum isolation and feedback control on stage. It is suitable for professional stage and studio applications, offering clarity, maximum transient response, resistance to feedback, and high SPL capabilities. The MicroD is designed for use with hand percussion instruments and drum instrument applications. It provides a frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz and requires 9 to 52V of phantom power. The package includes a 6' attached shielded cable with a mini-XLRf connector, a flexible mini gooseneck lug clamp for drums, congas, and percussion, an aluminum ring with a rubber shockmount holder, a 48V phantom power adapter for use with pre-amplifiers, mixer consoles, and recording devices, an external windscreen for reducing wind, sibilance, and pop noise, and a carrying pouch.
