Audix MicroPod Modular Gooseneck Microphone System - 18” Hypercardioid

The Audix MICROPOD18HC is a modular miniature condenser gooseneck microphone featuring an 18-inch integrated gooseneck. Part of the renowned MicroPod™ Series, the MICROPOD18HC is specifically designed for applications such as presentations, meetings, and teleconferencing where exceptional clarity and focused pickup are essential. It is known for its immunity to RF interference, excellent sound quality, and ease of operation, accurately capturing and reproducing vocals from a comfortable distance.  

The MICROPOD18HC is characterized by a uniformly controlled hypercardioid polar pattern, providing tighter pick-up control and superior isolation of the speaker from ambient noise in the room or on the stage. With a wide frequency range of 80 Hz - 20 kHz, this microphone delivers natural sound with exceptional transient response.  

Like other MicroPod™ Series microphones, the 18-inch gooseneck can be utilized with any microphone capsule from the Micros™ Series, offering flexibility for various applications. The MICROPOD18HC is often used in conjunction with the Audix ATS-10 table stand with a lighted on-off switch (sold separately) and can also be mounted on a standard microphone stand using the optional DClip adapter.  

The MICROPOD18HC features a machined brass microphone housing with an integrated mic preamp, a field-replaceable hypercardioid capsule, and a high-quality 18-inch gooseneck terminating in a standard XLRm connector. It requires 48 - 52 Volts phantom power and has a non-reflective black matte finish.
