Audix OM3 Handheld Hypercardioid Dynamic Microphone

The OM3 features a tight and uniformly controlled hypercardioid polar pattern. This focused pickup pattern excels at isolating the vocals, significantly reducing the bleed-through of other instruments present on stage. With a broad frequency response spanning from 50 Hz to 18 kHz, the OM3 incorporates a VLM™ (Very Low Mass) diaphragm. This design ensures a natural and detailed sound capture with exceptional transient response, faithfully reproducing the dynamics of vocal performances.  

To optimize vocal clarity, the OM3 incorporates a natural attenuation in the lower mid-bass frequencies. This design choice effectively minimizes unwanted boominess and handling noise. This characteristic, combined with an exceptionally articulate mid-range, makes the OM3 an outstanding choice for PA systems of all sizes, ensuring vocal intelligibility and presence. The OM3 offers a balanced feel, comfortable handling, and a robust construction built to high standards and tight tolerances.

Constructed with a durable precision die-cast zinc alloy body, the OM3 features a resilient black E-coat finish, a dent-resistant steel mesh grill, and a reliable gold-plated XLR connector, for consistent and dependable performance.
