The OM5 boasts an extremely tight and uniformly controlled hypercardioid polar pattern. This focused pickup pattern effectively isolates the vocals, minimizing spill from other instruments present on stage. Covering a broad frequency spectrum from 48 Hz to 19 kHz, the OM5 incorporates a VLM™ (Very Low Mass) diaphragm. This innovative design ensures a natural response, precise sound reproduction, and remarkable transient response, capturing the nuances of vocal performances.  

To optimize vocal clarity, the OM5 features a natural attenuation at 120 Hz, which effectively reduces unwanted boominess and handling noise. Furthermore, the mid-range frequencies are specifically tailored to enhance presence, allowing the vocalist to be heard more distinctly in both the main sound system and stage monitors. The OM5 is designed for comfortable handling and built to last, adhering to stringent manufacturing standards and tight tolerances.  

Constructed with a robust precision die-cast zinc alloy body, the OM5 features a durable black E-coat finish, a dent-resistant steel mesh grill, and a gold-plated XLR connector, ensuring reliable performance for years to come.
