Avantone Pro Kick Sub-Kick Drum Microphone for Kick Drums

Made from the driver of Avantone's CLA-10 popular speaker, the Kick is a microphone commonly referred to as a "subkick", one that captures the boomy response of a kick drum. This mic, coupled with a conventional miking on the kick drum, can give your bass drum the low end heft you seek in your recordings. A heavy-duty stand is included.

Features:

This is a sub-frequency microphone that utilizies a low-frequency driver based on a classic design from the 1980s. The Kick brings the boom from your instruments out to the forefront, making large-sounding sources sound massive.

The low-frequency driver is the same found in the CLA-10, a recreation of a studio classic. It has a single, continuous press-formed cone to match that classic sound. This allows a much higher level of quality control and consistency during the manufacturing process.

The Kick utilizes a real wooden drum shell, so mounting it on a standard mic stand just won't do. That's why Avantone Pro included a stage-ready, double-braced drum stand. Whether you're in the studio or on the road, the Kick is ready to deliver!

Avantone Pro Mondo Dynamic Kick Drum Microphone

The MONDO Dynamic Kick Drum Microphone from Avantone is a ruggedly designed kick drum microphone with an elegant finish that is also well suited for bass cabinets and other low-frequency signal capturing. The MONDO delivers aggressive frequency contouring and accentuates bass frequencies, leaving engineers to make very little EQ adjustments in both live sound reinforcement and recording applications alike. The dynamic capsule is capable of handling high SPL before distortion and is internally shockmounted for a high degree of resistance against structure-born noise. Its elegant Cabernet Wine-Red finish features nickel trim, rugged black grill and absolutely no breakable plastic components. The microphone includes a shockmount (SSM) and rugged padded carrying case.
