Made in Japan during the late 1980's this blue scripted unit of the Boss' DR Rhythm is the companies first version of the DR-550 drum machine line and is in excellent condition and perfect working order when tested. The DR 550 was one of many steps along the road of progress in the largely amateur, budget-focused Dr. Rhythm range, which, despite the general affordability of most models during this time, always managed to give the home recordist the essence of in-the-moment technology at a pocket book friendly price point.
