Earthworks RM1 - Drum Mic Clip

The RM1 - RimMount is a specially designed accessory that allows Drum Periscope or Periscope microphone models to be mounted on the rim of a tom or snare drum. The top of the RM1 (as well as the entire metal bracket) has been coated with a thick layer of polylefin to protect the drum rim and drum shell from being nicked or scarred. The RM1 has a rotary thumbscrew attached to a multi-slotted Delrin jaw that can be easily aligned to the underside of a metal drum rim. On the side of the RM1 is a rubber sleeve to hold the body of either a Drum Periscope or Periscope microphone. The microphone can be slid either up or down to increase or decrease the height of the microphone capsule above the drumhead. The RM1 can remain on the microphone when tearing down the drums saving time when setting up the drum set again. The RM1 can be attached to either the top or bottom rim of a drum, allowing the micing of either the top or bottom of a tom or snare drum.
