It contains a large Mylar diaphragm that delivers a rich and detailed frequency response. It features an innovative capsule shockmount system consisting of 4-point suspension around the circumference of the capsule and a tuned pneumatic pump at the capsule base that reduces handling noise. Furthermore, the Memraflex grille is made of a durable tight-mesh grille wire that withstands rough treatment. The capsule uses a humbucking coil that attenuates AC hum and electromagnetic interference.
