Built by hand, one at a time, by the master luthiers at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the latest iteration of Signature Series guitars by Stephen Carpenter of Detones is the ESP Stef Baritone-7 1 Hum. Stef has been one of the most influential players on the ESP artist roster for over 20 years, and his latest guitar offers innovative features that help him stand out from the crowd. These include a single Fishman Fluence® SRC Signature pickup with a push-pull control to switch between its “Modern Active” and “Modern Passive Attack” voices. The ESP Stef Baritone-7 1 Hum is a 7-string guitar built at 27” baritone scale with a neck-thru-body design. It offers a comfortable and resonant alder body and a three-piece maple neck, with top-level components like a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body design, Sperzel locking tuners, and a graphite nut. This guitar is available in a Purple Satin finish and includes a high-quality hardshell ESP case.
