Used with only one original owner and very gently played. This is a 2016 Furch “Vintage 2” Series D33-SR (Spruce/Rosewood) full-size dreadnought acoustic guitar featuring a vintage-style slotted headstock.
It has an AAA-graded solid Sitka spruce top and AAA-graded solid Indian rosewood sides with a two-piece back. Finished in a vintage amber-tinted gloss, the guitar features herringbone purfling and binding around the top, a black triple-ring and herringbone rosette around the soundhole, and herringbone inlay along the center seam of the two-piece rosewood back.
The back of the body is finished with solid artificial ivory-white binding, paired with an unbound solid mahogany neck, an ebony fretboard, and pearl Quadratic inlays, joining the body at the 14th fret. Hardware includes an ebony bridge and bridge pins, along with Gotoh open-gear brushed-nickel tuners, side-mounted on the vintage-style slotted headstock with an ebony faceplate.
Nut width is 1 6/8" TUSQ, with a 2 7/8" TUSQ compensated saddle and a 25 9/16" scale length. The guitar is equipped with a Furch factory-installed LR Baggs Element EAS-VTC pickup system, featuring soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.
It is sold with the original Furch-branded Hiscox molded hardshell case, Furch factory warranty card, and LR Baggs Element user guide. Also included is a tan Furch factory “Service Pack Pouch”, containing:
4 replacement frets
3 ebony replacement bridge pins
2 saddle shims
Truss rod adjustment Allen wrench
Condition
Cosmetically, the guitar has been very gently played and shows no cracks or history of major repairs. There is one very small ding on the Sitka spruce top, located just below the 16th-fret marker near the lower edge beside the herringbone binding. This mark does not go through the top and has been professionally repaired by our in-house technician.
There are also a few very light play marks on the bass side of the soundhole rosette and near the armrest area, along with minor marks on the rear of the headstock from normal contact over its 10-year lifespan. These are visible in the posted photos and reflect normal, honest wear only—no abuse of any kind.
This is an absolutely wonderful-sounding instrument and a clear staff favorite in the shop. It delivers rich, tight lows and glassy, crystal-clear highs, covering the entire tonal spectrum. Fully set up and ready for its next owner.
