The Original Series guitars embody vintage-inspired details from Gibson's golden era. Each model is rich with old-world craftsmanship and features while maintaining the legendary quality, playability, and exceptional tone that have made Gibson acoustics famous worldwide.
A 1960s-Style J-45
When you play a Gibson round-shoulder acoustic, you'll notice how naturally it responds to the player's touch and technique—powerful and dynamic one moment, warm and mellow the next.
This 1960s J-45 Original features a period-correct 1 11/16" nut width, providing comfortable fretting in any position along the mahogany neck. The easily adjustable saddle allows players to fine-tune the string action to their personal preference.
The new 60s J-45 Original also features aged multi-ply binding, Grover tuners with cream buttons, and Gibson's iconic white pickguard with a hot-stamped logo.
