Aquired directly from the Gibson factory that has traveled from dealer to dealer by our Gibson sales rep as a "Sales Demo" guitar. Excellent to mint condition and is complete with its original brown with plush pink interior Gibson hard shell case, and all the "From the factory" case candy. ( Factory hang tags, Black leather Gibson Strap, Multi tool, Polish cloth and Gibson factory work-bench "Birth Photo"). The only thing missing from the package that would make this complete is the factory cardboard shipping box. 100% flawless Ebony high gloss finish that is ding and dent free. All set up and ready to find its very first loving owner!!
The Gibson Flying V is considered an iconic design by modern guitarists. It was first introduced in 1958, and in the following decades it became increasingly popular, especially with hard rock and metal guitarists. For many of them, the 1980s is when the model really hit its stride. The Gibson 80s Flying V is based on the highly sought-after 1984 models. It features a fast-playing Slim Taper mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard. The iconically-shaped mahogany body is outfitted with new 80s Tribute pickups that accurately capture the unique fat-toned sound and rich sustain of the models from that era. A hardshell case is also included.
