Used 2016 Gibson ES339 Memphis - Studio in an almost flawless Ginger Burst- high gloss finish. Very gently used, one original owner guitar that has seen a bit of use and shows some very light and isolated playwear in the form of some light surface scratching around the rear neck joint mounted strap pin area, but nothing in the way of dings, chips or excessive belt rash. Fully restrung and set up with a fresh set of D'Addario EXL110 strings and is complete with its original Gibson hard shell case and factory COA.

Maple Body & Neck,..

Constructed from a hollow Maple body and set-in neck the ES-339 Studio produces a bright, tight and precise tone with a balanced low and crisp high response. Additionally the "F" shaped sound holes allow unique vibration circulation within the body creating a warm and resonant tone similar to larger acoustic guitars. Finished with an attractive top contour which is complimented by the wine red lacquer the ES-339 not only sounds great but looks extremely impressive.

With a full size ES hollow body the ES-339 Studio produces a resonant and rich sound with plenty of resonance and projection due to the “f” shaped sound holes. With a Maple centre block, Spruce braces and Mahogany rum liner the ES-339 provides an impressive sustain.

The Gibson Memphis ES-339 Studio features Gibson’s innovative new neck profile to offer a smoother playability than ever before. The soft “C” profile is slightly thicker than previous neck profiles without feeling chunky and uncomfortable. This improved profile allows for greater sustain and overall response whilst provide the same effortless playability synonymous with Gibson guitars.

Loaded with Gibson '57 Classic and Super ’57 Classic humbucking pickups in the bridge and neck position the 2016 ES-339 Studio produces a warm and clear sound based on the traditional PAF tone. Having become synonymous with the sought after sound of vintage Gibson guitars the ’57 Classic and Super ’57 Classic pickups offer a crunchy, gain tone in the bridge position and a smooth, responsive neck tone. Constructed from alnico II magnets, matched coil windings and featuring two conductor wiring the '57 Classic humbuckers produce a vintage high gain tone with dynamic, bright tones and balanced overtones.
