Overview of GoPro HERO3 Skeleton Housing
The GoPro HERO3 Skeleton Housing is similar to the regular GoPro camera housing, but it has open side panels that provide access to the cable connection points. It can be used for live-feed video, charging while recording, keeping the camera cool during shoots and more. It's also the GoPro camera housing best suited to capture enhanced audio if you're recording at low speeds where wind won't be an issue.
This housing can also be used with the HERO3+ and HERO4 cameras in situations where you want to use an accessory that requires the HERO3 Skeleton Housing.
