Ibanez AEQ-TP2 Preamp with Built-in Tuner:
The AEQ-TP2 preamp, located on the top of the instrument, features a convenient and easy-to-read digital tuner and a two-band EQ.

Amaranth Wood Bridge:
The bridge transmits string vibrations directly to the guitar body, providing a natural and warm tone.

Ibanez Advantage™ Bridge Pins:
These offer a significant advantage over traditional pin designs. Advantage™ pins are easier to insert and remove than standard pins. A special bulbous end makes the pin easier to grip and prevents it from being pushed in too far. Even better, with Advantage™, the peg and string stay in place.

AIR Vent:
Through intensive research and development, we designed the AIR vent with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them precisely to the instrument's soundhole. This gives you greater control over what you play, enhancing your overall playing experience.

Grand Dreadnought Body
Through a rigorous, multi-year research and development process, Ibanez reimagined the dreadnought from the ground up, striving for the ultimate in tonal richness, bass response, and overall volume. This entirely new body shape is called the "Grand Dreadnought." Proportionally, it's 5% larger than a standard dreadnought, resulting in more volume, a richer tone, and a more powerful bass response. It's also incredibly comfortable to play thanks to its meticulous attention to ergonomics.

XM Bracing:
After years of trial and error, Ibanez developed the XM bracing, which generates the ultimate sound to stand out on stage. The carefully crafted, sculpted X-bracing and evenly spaced slats efficiently transmit string vibrations to the body via the bridge. It creates a clear sound in the bass, precise in the treble, and warm in the midrange, while offering a wide dynamic range and a high response.

Functional Slim Headstock:
The new headstock shape is the result of extensive research and development. It reduces weight and achieves straight string alignment, improving tuning stability and minimizing neck warping.

Advanced Access Cutaway:
The deep, straight cutaway (from the 18th fret) and its slim profile provide incredible access to the upper frets.
