The JHS The AT (Version 1) is a signature overdrive and distortion pedal designed in collaboration with guitarist Andy Timmons. Based heavily on the JHS Angry Charlie circuit, it delivers massive, high-gain British amp tones, four control knobs (Volume, Drive, EQ, and Air), and a three-way toggle switch for 25W, 50W, and 100W virtual headroom modes.
- Layout: Features a diamond-shaped knob layout and a single footswitch.
- Controls: Volume, Drive, EQ, and Air. The EQ acts as a low-pass filter for high treble, while the Air knob acts as a secondary low-pass filter specifically for presence, allowing you to fine-tune the high-end bite
- A 3-way toggle switch simulates different amplifier wattages.
- Up (25W): Maximum compression, thickest saturation, and lowest output volume.
- Down (50W): Balanced, classic British JCM800 crunch.
- Middle (100W): Maximum volume, most open and uncompressed tone.
