The Sound Shield Compact from Marantz Professional is a compact and portable acoustic absorber, designed primarily to reduce the amount of room ambience picked up by a microphone during recording in the studio or in less-than-ideal environments. Attached to the inside of the unit, the high-quality foam absorbs and diffuses unwanted reflection for a cleaner and more present vocal sound. The Sound Shield Compact is designed to mount directly on microphone stands and features two curved metal panels which fold for easy transport.
