Released in 1988, The Guv’nor was the first pedal that squeezed Marshall’s ‘big black box’ sound into a ‘little black box’. Fast forward to the present day and now this vintage reissue is here to do it all over again. Since it first hit the market, The Guv'nor set the standard for distortion; from soft, driven tones to cranking the gain for a classic, heavier sound. This faithful reproduction sticks to what made this pedal special in the first place. From the unique design to the instantly recognizable sound, everything has been painstakingly recreated in the same factory that has been building Marshall amplifiers for sixty years.
