Say "NO" to blue tape with this reusable design that goes on in seconds, fully protects without damaging the fretboard, and lasts hundreds of fret jobs.
High-quality stainless steel is the perfect thickness at .008" (.20mm), uses a precision manufacturing process free of burrs, and leaves all edges smooth and rounded. An innovative formed drop-down edge allows the rubber bands (includes) to hold the Fret Shield in place securely and keep the bands below the top surface to avoid damaging them during the polishing process. Fret Shields come in the most popular Fret Scale sizes and even include a convenient hang hole. Whether your fretboard is finished maple or unfinished rosewood with inlays, your board will thank you for protecting it.
The tapered design has slot sizes that measure from the first fret .125" (3.18mm) W x 2.074" (52.679mm) L to the last fret .125" (3.18mm) W x 2.497" (63.426mm) L and fits all fret sizes (from narrow to jumbo) found on 6 string guitars.
