Automatically tests Hi-Fi/guitar amplifier valves and displays their condition, performing a wide range of tests, quickly and accurately.

The latest model of the Orange Valve Tester has greatly improved algorithms with an updated database containing the test results of literally hundreds of new, used, and faulty valves giving the MKII a much greater intelligence compared to the original Orange VT1000. All the voltages required by the tester are internally derived, stabilized and controlled allowing rapid static and transient testing without unnecessary heat generation. In addition, the new unit features higher current capacity with enhanced ‘grid leakage detection testing’, a new ‘thermal runaway’ test, and a new ‘digital microphony function’ to test pre-amp valves. Its new, rugged mechanical design and form have also improved valve sockets.

  • Microphony test (ECC81, ECC82, ECC83 & 12BH7 only)
  • Capability to test directly heated valves with expansion modules
  • All valves tested under higher current.
  • Improved test sockets
  • More rugged design
  • Capability to test other valve types such as rectifiers with expansion modules
  • Valve failure mode fault

Designed & Made in the UK

The Orange Valve Tester MKII, proudly crafted and engineered in the UK, revolutionizes valve-testing technology. With seamless precision and simplicity, it effortlessly conducts a comprehensive array of tests, setting a new global standard for both Hi-Fi enthusiasts and service professionals.
