Ortofon Scratch White OM Premounted on SH-4 Blue headshell

As implied by the name, the Scratch is intended especially for the disciplines of scratch and back-cueing. Like the QBert, DJs had a say in designing this cartridge so it would match the needs of dance floor kings. This model is white and comes premounted on a SH-4 headshell in Blue Featuring a reinforced rubber suspension, DJs need not worry about compromising sound quality and stylus life when working with higher tracking forces.  With solid bass reproduction and extended highs, the Scratch is great for any style, providing energetic, in-your-face sound.

Ortofon-branded products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of original retail purchase when used in accordance with Ortofon’s user manuals. If a defect arises during the warranty period, Ortofon, at its option, will (1) repair the product at no charge or (2) exchange the product with one of equivalent functionality or one that is at least functionally equivalent to the product it replaces. This warranty excludes damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs, improper installation, or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship, as well as normal depletion of consumable parts such as styli unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
