The Paiste Masters Deep Ride is a sweet cymbal with the heart of a jazz ride. It exhibits a bright attack and a dry, full body near the bell. But it begins to open up into a complex and controlled wash as you move out toward the edge. Music City Drummers find a variety of tones out of the Paiste Masters Deep Ride, and so we think it'd make a good option for just about any music style: certainly jazz and symphonic music, but also contemporary rock, pop, and metal.
