Promark's Rebound 5A Drumsticks have the same thickness as the industry's standard 5A sticks, the most popular size for rock drummers everywhere. Made of very durable hickory, they'll last you quite a while.
The acorn tips on the ends of these sticks give you a wider "sweet spot" than a teardrop shape, creating more articulation and responsiveness.
A long 3" taper puts more of the weight of the stick towards the back of your hand, increasing the ease of stroke rebound and giving you ultimate control. It will feel like it's doing a lot of the work, while you just sit there and play.
The FireGrain series goes through an additional hardening process in which the natural wood is exposed to fire in order to maintain the original weight, dimensions, and feel while creating a stick that is more durable and lasts longer than the original.
