Promark's SPYR Series is designed to be a single line of mallets that covers the needs of an entire ensemble, especially indoor and outdoor marching ensembles.
These marimba mallets have a slightly oversized mallet head for a mallet of this graduation, with an internal brass weight to provide a full, deep tone from the marimba.
They also have a slightly thicker shaft than traditionally used for a little bit of extra durability and stability.
This hard model is good for passages which demand a very clear articulation and not as much wash or resonance.
