Somewhere around the mid-1960s drum manufacturers changed up the internal sizing of their shells, and most modern drum heads don't fit all very well on these vintage instruments. Remo Classic Fit Drum Heads solve that problem, so if you've got truly vintage drums they're a lifesaver!
The flesh hoop on these heads are slightly narrower than normal, giving the head a larger inside diameter without increasing the outer diameter. They're good for drums with thick covers or are slightly out of round.
Remo Diplomat Fiberskyn Heads look and sound like natural skin for a more authentic and traditional drum tone, made with a single textured layer of 7.5-mil film.
