The Rolls RP563 - Stereo Tube Sonic Exciter is a 19" 1U rackmountable signal processor designed for studio and live reinforcement applications. The unit provides two channels of class-A vacuum tube gain circuitry and can correct phase and harmonic differences in an audio signal, generating a warmer and more present sound.
The device features both 1/4" unbalanced and balanced XLR inputs, an adjustable 18 dB/octave subwoofer filter with adjustable frequency, level control, bottom and definition controls, and left and right analog metering. In addition to its stereo XLR and 1/4" output connectors, it also features a 1/4" sub output for sending the filtered and unprocessed sub frequencies to an external sub-processing channel strip or amplifier.
