The 2.5-micron aluminum ribbon reproduces audio with startling transparency and detail. Like most ribbon microphones, the R-122V features a figure-8 polar pattern for flexible microphone positioning. The output-stage electronics are built around a JAN mil-spec 5840W vacuum tube for incredible warmth, rich detail and high output gain.
