The BLX1 is powered by two included AA batteries for up to 14 hours. The system has a 300' line-of-sight range of operation. The Beta 98H/C mic has a 10' flexible cable as well as a gooseneck with ratcheting swivel joint that allows for a variety of placement options. Its clip is designed to clamp onto the bell of your sax, woodwind, or brass instrument, or on the rim of your percussion instrument. It can handle an SPL of up to 155 dB, making it well suited for the volume levels of most brass, woodwind, or percussion instruments.
