This limited edition 14"x4.5" G-Hickory snare drum features an 11mm, 12-ply Hickory shell with a stunning Elm outer ply. Typically reserved for drumsticks, Hickory delivers a bright and crisp tone. The thick shell, combined with its shallower 4.5" depth, results in a snare that's both powerful and highly sensitive.
A die-cast hoop adds punchy attack, complementing the crisp buzz of carbon steel snare wires. This combination creates an exceptional balance of volume and sensitivity. Like maple, Hickory is versatile, but its drier tonal character makes it an excellent auxiliary snare, adaptable across genres thanks to its wide tuning range.
