Tascam AP-10 2-Channel Announcement SD Player with External Control

The TASCAM AP-10 is a compact half-rack, 2-channel SD audio player with automated playback, controlled by GPIO or over a network (LAN) using Open Sound Control (OSC). This lets it work with external systems. It's ideal for announcements and audio playback in shops, amusement facilities and theme parks, factories, train stations, airports and offices.

Flexible System Integration via GPIO
The GPIO port connects the AP-10 to external devices such as control panels, sensors, timers and signage. Incoming signals can trigger playback automatically. Outgoing signals can switch on lighting, displays and other devices depending on playback status.

Remote Control via OSC
OSC support makes it easy to build custom control screens with TouchOSC or similar apps. Playback can be controlled remotely from tablets or PCs, and linked with video and lighting equipment.

Offline Content Management
The free TASCAM Playlist Editor software converts audio files to AP-10-compatible formats and makes creating and editing playlists quick. For each file you can set volume, playback interval, fade-in and fade-out times, trigger delay, and repeat count and interval.

• Flexible installation: with the optional rackmount kit, the AP-10 can be rack-mounted or installed on top of or under shelves.
