The SS-R300N is the successor to the SS-R250N: a network-enabled recorder/player built for professional applications that need reliability and flexibility. It keeps the previous model's recording and playback features and adds secure file transfer and OSC support for stronger network operation and system integration. It suits commercial and public facilities, halls and theatres, broadcast installations and conference systems.

High-Resolution Recording and Playback
Records and plays back at up to 96 kHz/24-bit on SD cards and USB flash drives. It supports SDXC cards and USB drives up to 512 GB, so it handles long recordings and large content libraries.

Secure File Management Over a Network
A LAN port lets you upload and download files via FTPS client and SFTP server/client functions, without removing the SD card. An auto-upload function can send recordings automatically to a chosen server.

Flexible Control and System Integration

• External control via Ethernet (RJ-45), RS-232C serial (D-sub 9-pin) and parallel (D-sub 25-pin).
• Open Sound Control (OSC) support for integration with DAWs, lighting and video systems.
• Stays compatible with the SS-R250N and SS-CDR250N, so upgrades keep existing media and setups.

Professional I/O
XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced analog I/O, plus AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital I/O.

Dante and Q-SYS Ready

• Connects to Dante audio networks with the optional IF-DA2 interface card (sold separately).
• A Q-SYS plugin allows network control from the Q-SYS user interface: record start/stop, source, file selection and FTP upload.
